I can’t charge my Nintendo Gameboy DS light in Europe. What do I need to do?

You may need a converter from 230 volt to 110 volt.
Try at a big shop where they sell electric appliances, a travel shop or an airport shop (if you have someone who can go for you to behind the passport control.) And hope that you did not damage your charger with the higher voltage.
