@Tmal10 And I think Sony came up with the name “PlayStation”. I believe the guy behind the PlayStation went to Nintendo, and were gonna make a add-on. But, Nintendo went with Phillips, cause they were greedy fucks.

Sony and Nintendo were to create a partnership, they were to create a “CD add-on” for the SNES. Sony then demanded too much money in the overall profit of the product, So Nintendo told Sony’s CEO to GTFO, and opted for Philips to co-create this with instead as they were more accepting in how the revenue was dealt fairly, which is why there were so many shit Zelda games for the CDi. The name “playstation” was a creation of Nintendo’s thus Sony stole the “playstation” get it? Now stop hatin’ !!

The gamecube truly was a console of innovations. Faster Smash brothers, Mario gets a water gun style weapon, Link is cell shaded. Now don’t get me wrong. I never said it was a mistake.

GC is still the best looking machine made to date. if it weren’t for the Z button placement (make LR smaller- re-align Z for index finger) its Gpad would have had most comfortable prize. wii remote feels like a turd in your hand- its smart they keept the Gpads sockets in- it needs them. but the best games are still on cube (you got the whole r.e series on there for instance) no wii for me. but ps3 games aint as appealing as ps2 classics either but at least it aint promoted by old pensioners.
@Tmal10 makes you wonder what if the deal didn’t flop and today we would be enjoying a third generation console that had no medium/brand qualms for developers to mince over- the volume of games would have been emence, square, capcom (sega too) and others under one roof sporting backward compatible games from generation 1/2 as well. would have been delicious- and think how tidy our living rooms would have been. sony probably would have broke of anyway- it would have wanted more market pie.
