at last a fit girl gamer
The Gamecube DEFINITELY has the most obscure games of all the Nintendo Consoles, and that’s what I love about it. Wind Waker is my second favorite game of all time (barely caught up by Ocarina of Time) and Mario Sunshine is EXTREMELY underrated. Luigi’s Mansion is overlooked, Melee is left in the dust for many Smash Bros. Fans, and some of it’s other releases just nobody ever talked about. PS2 is WAY overrated in my opinion. It just doesn’t stick out to me.

It is worth mentioning that Nintendo wanted “gaming” to be a primary focus instead of other forms of media. Sure it can’t play DVDs, but who gives a crap if it doesn’t. Just give me a Goddamn game so I can play it in my console. In that particular generation, the GCN was/is considered the last true gaming console just like in this generation, the Wii is despite the fact that it’s a multimedia console since it supports Netflix.

GCN was a ridiculously awesome system. Why? It had a variety of titles to choose from other than Smash Bros., Sonic, and Resident Evil 4. Though, I completely disagree with you stating that it was a commercial failure. Sales doesn’t really mean anything if you look at it. It sold well, but it recelved little publicity due to the overrated-as-hell PS2 and the overhyped Xbox consoles. Not to mention, the ominous fanboy wars in which people favored “graphics” over “gameplay”.
@DarKSouL951 Sell me one! I want one of those!

I miss my gamecube so much
sooo much better than the Wii. I just got rid of my Wii this week
@SatoshiMatrix1 Yea, I think the dual screen format could easily be arranged somehow, so that the game play itself can fill up the entire screen. At first, I honestly thought DS games could never work on a T.V. due to touch screen complications. However, the Wii mote would be a perfect substitute for the stylus. It can be DONE!!
u miss the gameboy player
nice video!!!

@Sonic2332 It’s a shame there isn’t some way to play DS games on the big screen. A number of DS games would look great on a tv if there was a method of displaying one screen at a time rather than shrinking it as youtube reviews of DS games by major publications do. Ah well, maybe someone will hack something some day.
@SatoshiMatrix1I just don’t get why the Game Boy Player was sooo underrated.
When it first came out, Gamecube owners didn’t even need a Gameboy Advance anymore in order to play GBA titles. Plus, it is executed MUCH better than the original Super Gameboy because finally, we get to see these games take up the entire T.V. screen! (with the exception of the small top and bottom boarders, but they were hardly noticeable.)
The first game I popped in was Mega Man Zero and it was so SURREAL!! lol
@Tremuoso Lol nice line
I saw your Cat’s Tail… =0
Well this reminded me that I still need to get my hands on my favorite Game Cube games and a Memory card

Thank you for reconizing the gamecube! In my opinion, of all the nintendo systems, this is my favorite! I even named part of my name after the N64 and I still think the Gamecube is the best. It’s just my opinion, though.

that’s the reason I have 3 gamecubes at home
I honestly didnt know you had to press that button to get the game out
Gamecube might be cute, but its not as cute as you.
